Hey! My name is Konstantinos Demertzidis

This is where I display all my projects and progress in coding!

About Me

I’m an 18-year-old web developer based in the Netherlands with Greek roots. I initially started in game development, but transitioned into web development after discovering a stronger interest in building interactive and accessible web experiences, as well as the broader career opportunities in the field. I have experience with technologies such as C#, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I enjoy turning ideas into functional and user-friendly applications while continuously improving my technical skills. I also work with tools like GitHub, browser developer tools, Figma, VS Code, and WebStorm to support my development workflow. Outside of coding, I enjoy listening to music, gaming, traveling, and spending time with friends. I’m known for being a strong communicator and a fast learner, especially when guided in the right direction. I previously worked at De Zorggroep Crescendo in Venlo, and I’m currently fully focused on developing my skills and continuing my studies.

My Projects

Vue.Js/Socket.io Controller

This was my first web development project, created for a school assignment where we built a controller for a Unity game using Vue.js and Socket.io. I was responsible for designing and developing the controller's UI/UX and implementing its functionality. I learned a lot about Vue.js and Socket.io, and although getting the communication working was challenging at first, it was rewarding to see it all come together. The project also taught me how to work effectively in a team and create a user-friendly interface. Project-Link

Natlab: Behind the screens

This was a project i worked on with a group made by the school, it was a project for the Natlab in Eindhoven and it was a collaboration between the Creative producer course, and the Software development course. I enjoyed working on this project, it was the project that really showed me how much i enjoy working with UI and how to make it look as good as possible. This project was also the one that made me learn the most about React.js. This project was made using: React.js, Node.js, and React-router-dom. It was difficult at first due to the stress of working for an actual big client and i learned a lot from it. Project-Link

Hypixel Skyblock Minion Calculator

This was an ambition project I worked on with a friend. It's a calculator for minions in Hypixel SkyBlock that estimates how much money a minion can make over a certain amount of time using the Hypixel SkyBlock Bazaar API for live item prices. I was mainly responsible for creating the carousel, most of the styling, and setting up the routing. The website was built using React.js, Node.js, React Multi Carousel, React Router, and Tailwind CSS. It was a fun project and my first time working with React. Project-Link

Dragon Kombat Super

Dragon Kombat Super

This is the first ever game i've worked on that has animations in it, It's inspired by Tekken, Street Fighter and Dragon Ball FighterZ. getting the animations to work was pretty simple by itself, but cutting them down into seperate part with a spritesheet you found online isn't the most fun thing to do. Overall i'm happy with how it turned out and i might just add my AI script to it someday, atleast when i learn how to add animations to AI's. Project-Repo

Days Be Gone

This is a game i've worked on with a group from school, it's about the first world war and based on the story of Dorothy Lawrence. I worked on the UI and the music of the game, it was a pretty fun experience and i learned a lot about how to make good UI and how to make it fit the theme of the game. I also worked on making a task, which is sadly not displayed in the video, but it was a task where you had to pull out glass shards fron a wounded arm, put some alcohol on it for disinfection, wipe the wound clean, and bandage it. We had some difficulties with the project, but it all ended up working out the way we wanted it to. Project-Repo

Roger the therapist

Roger the Therapist

This was a game I made with a group of friends, it was for our global citizenship class. The assignment was to choose a current problem in the world. We chose cyberbullying. Here you play as a victim of cyberbullying, you have your therapist by your side who tells you if you could've answered better to your bully. Roger can also give the player tips for them to pick the right answer. This was an overall fun experience and helped me learn how to work with UI well. Project-Repo
